Chelsea slap price tag on Romelu Lukaku amid loan interest.

Chelsea have reportedly informed AS Roma of the fee to pay if they are to sign Belgium international Romelu Lukaku on loan.

The 29-year-old striker has fallen out with Chelsea and has been training alone since his return from Inter Milan.

The Blues are working on a way out for the striker, and Jose Mourinho's AS Roma have emerged as a likely destination.

Mourinho hints at Lukaku signing

As Pulse Sports previously reported, Roma have become the latest side linked with the Belgian forward, and 'the special one' Jose Mourinho, has done nothing to dispel the rumours.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Mourinho claimed the club is trying to sign one more striker following the arrival of Serdar Azmoun.

He said: “Lukaku deal? The club told me that we will sign one more striker after Serdar Azmoun, and that makes me happy.

“It’s difficult for me to comment now on Azmoun as he hasn’t signed yet; imagine Lukaku, who’s a Chelsea player"

According to The Daily Mail, the West London side are demanding a loan fee of between £8-10 million to let the striker go.

Also, they are said to be unwilling to take on any percentage of this £325,000 weekly wage.

This would mean the striker has to take a pay cut, as Roma's finances make paying such an amount unrealistic.
