Chelsea set for new sponsors, stadium could get name change
According to the DailyMail, Allianz have been in talks with Chelsea over becoming their principal shirt sponsor from next season. This comes after the Blues' deal with mobile network Three expired and the Premier League stopped them from teaming up with American TV network Paramount.
During the discussions with Chelsea, the possibility of a potential stadium naming deal was floated and while Allianz are said to be weighing up a major, long-term partnership with the Blues, nothing has been confirmed at this point.
