Elizabeth Mutamuliza, Guinness Uganda Brand Manager, shared her thoughts on the event.

"One of the reasons why we do this as Guinness is not only to spread the spirit of camaraderie and brotherhood but also to interact with our consumers in the spaces where they feel most comfortable and where they shine,” she said.

Since its inception in 2017, the league that recently secured Guinness sponsorship has seen eight seasons unfold, with a total of 14 teams participating.

The Chaapa League is played by old boys of Mbarara High School and is one of the several Guinness sponsored old boys’ leagues that are all the rage in town at the moment.
