AFC Leopards midfielder Cliff Nyakeya has fueled speculation about his potential move to Shabana as he issued a statement on Wednesday reflecting on his time with the club.

In his statement, Nyakeya acknowledged the challenges faced throughout the season, citing a slow start, intermittent success, and overall inconsistency.
"A tough season it has been. We had a slow start, picked up momentum at some point, but inconsistency followed," expressed Nyakeya.
The 27-year-old further extended his gratitude to the supporters who stood by the team despite their shortcomings before addressing the critics, urging them to channel their negativity constructively.
"For those who criticized us, we take it positively. But for those who made it a tribal matter, it's a shame on you," he added.
