AFC Leopards' versatile defender Collins Shivachi has decided to call time on his Ingwe career after three years but has taken the club to the Sports Dispute Tribunal (SDT) over alleged unpaid wages.
Shivachi, who joined the 12-time league champions from Tusker FC in 2020, spent three seasons at the club, and was part of the team that reached the final of the 2021 FKF Cup but fell short to sworn rivals Gor Mahia on penalties.

Fans at Kasarani did not hide their frustration, with a section of them even being involved in a heated exchange with the club’s officials following the defeat to KCB.
Taking to his Facebook page, Shivachi wrote he decided to call time on his Ingwe career because his contract expired, and remains ‘a supporter of this great club’ despite ‘going to a tribunal’.
“It's time to announce and clear the air. I ran out of contract and am no longer a member of this great club,” Shivachi wrote.
“Despite going to the Tribunal I'll remain a great supporter and a big contributor to the club, thank you and am happy to be part of the club. Thanks for the memories.all the best. See you soon.”
Born in Kakamega, Shivachi started his career at Western Stima before he moved to Sofapaka in 2012 and played for Batoto ba Mungu until 2015 when he was lured to Tusker by coach Paul Nkata.
