The Yahaya Bello Ladies will go all out against their host Abia Angels, following a disappointing goalless draw at home to the Adamawa Queens last week.

We are ready for the task - Confluence Queens

Confluence Queens captain Hauwa Abdullahi acknowledged that the Abia Angels are no pushover; her team is up to the task and prepared to win every point in Umuahia.

Abdullahi revealed this after her team's workout at the Umuahia township stadium.

She implored her teammates not to give up since they wanted to play well overall and win on Wednesday.

She said, "Abia Angels are a very good side, but we are not here for a joke. We are battle ready for the three points that are at stake, as the idea is to play a complete game and win on Wednesday".

On her part, Confluence Queens coach, Whyte Ogbonda confirmed that his team has a fully-fit squad and will likely field the best leg with first-choice goalkeeper Linda Jiwuaku making a return to the team.

There are four points between the two teams, and that would even make the game more interesting. Confluence Queens are second on the log with 17 points, while Abia Angels are fifth on the log with 13 points.

A win for the Lokoja-based side in this encounter will see them hold on to their Super Six ambition.
