Osimhen has been accused of being undisciplined by former Napoli defender Alessandro Renica, who suggested that the Nigerian striker will benefit from continuing at the club and being under the tutelage of Antonio Conte.

Osimhen's future to be determined in few days with PSG and Al-Hilal offers on table
Victor Osimhen's future is expected to be resolved soon as his agent has a meeting scheduled with Napoli's president.
The striker has been placed on the transfer market by the Partenopei, but suitors are not flooding in, given the high expense required to complete a deal for the Nigerian.
Hence, as Pulse Sports also suggested, he was advised by Napoli striker Cristian Bucchi to continue at the club. Bucchi believes the arrival of Conte means glad tidings are imminent for Napoli and that Osimhen will stand to gain by continuing beyond this summer.
Those sentiments have now been reechoed by another former Napoli player, who, in addition to Bucchi’s submission, thinks the Italian manager can help Osimhen with his discipline issues.
What was said?
In a conversation with Radio Punto Zero during Napoli Magazine Live, former Partenopei defender Alessandro Renica stated that the Naples-based club will be formidable next season if they manage to hold on to Osimhen.
He also added that Osimhen's disciplinary issue can be curtailed by the former Chelsea coach.
“Are we aiming for the Scudetto? I don't know, it's premature to talk about the Scudetto, we need to see when the squad will be defined, but with what Conte will have at his disposal, I think he will be able to get the most out of it<” Renica said.
“Osimhen? Conte's authority can do him good, given that he is a bit undisciplined. If he were to stay, it will be a great championship with Conte. In any case, we are talking about a top player.”
Osimhen has had his discipline questioned at various points in his career. The most recent incident came after a flagrant online rant, in which he blatantly disrespected erstwhile Super Eagles coach and national team legend Finidi George.
