'Daktari wa mpiira' is set to miss out on both legs of the CAF Confederation Cup final due to suspension.

He might not be unavailable for selection, but not all is lost for Young African combative midfielder Khalid Aucho.

'Daktari wa mpiira' is set to miss out on both legs of the CAF Confederation Cup final due to suspension.

However, the spirit and motivation to help the team in any way possible remain Aucho's focus.

"I thought I was going to miss only one leg, but it is what it is what it is," Aucho told Pulse Sports.

"It's tough, but I am happy everyone at the club has supported me, from the president to the coach and my teammates."

"I will help the team whichever way possible because we need to win the final; it's history for us," Aucho added.

LIFE WITHOUT AUCHO.

Young African head coach Nabbi Nasreddine will now have to look at other options to fill Aucho's void.

Salum Abubaker' Sureboy' and Mudathir Yahaya are some options available to play the holding midfield role.

'Tiimu ya Wanainchi' will also be counting on Fiston Mayele upfront; the lethal forward has been in top form scoring six goals throughout the tournament.

The final first leg against USM Alger will kick off at 4 pm at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium. Both teams are playing in the final for the very first time.
