Cristiano Ronaldo on Guardiola, Alex Ferguson
When discussing the Red Devils and Erik ten Hag's rebuilding process, Ronaldo emphasized the importance of knowledgeable leadership, stating:
"You cannot rebuild a club without knowledge. The people who understand football are 99% those who were in the dressing room.
"The most successful coaches in history were players, Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola, they understand the game"
Ronaldo's admiration for Ferguson is well-documented, given their time together at Manchester United.
His nod to Guardiola, widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches, comes as no surprise, despite never being coached by the Manchester City boss.
