Cristiano Ronaldo declares undying love to former club despite leaving on heated terms
Cristiano Ronaldo wished his former club incredible success in their future endeavours.
Ronaldo believes Toni Kroos can still play at high level
Ronaldo respects Kroos' decision but believes he still has a few years of football left in him.
Speaking with Rio Ferdinand on his UR Cristiano YouTube channel, CR7 said "Kroos' retirement? It's the way he sees it, we have to respect him. I respect his decision.
"He could play a few years more at a high level, but that's his decision."
Ronaldo, himself, has no plans to retire at the end of the season, as he continues to score and perform at a high level for both club and country.
Over the ongoing international break, the Al Nassr man became the first footballer to score over 900 goals, and his goal is to crack the 1000 mark before hanging up his boots.
This means the likelihood of seeing Ronaldo in the 2026 World Cup has increased exponentially.
