Crown FC of Ogbomosho has started preparation for Nigeria's Second division League, the Nigeria National League (NNL).
The Oyo state representative at the NNL will begin their quest for a promotion ticket to the elite league at the newly upgraded Soun Township Stadium in Ogbomoso.
The team will host Gateway United on Wednesday.
The Ajilete Warriors were grouped in B2 with Gateway United, Ijebu United, Joy Cometh, Smart City FC, and Sporting Lagos.
The Ogbomoso-based side finished second on the group B2 log last season behind Bayelsa United.
NNL adjust date for Matchday 1
NNL has adjusted the Match day one fixture, the new date will continue on Wednesday 22 March, instead of the earlier scheduled date of Saturday 18 March 2023 .
This development was required by the country's electoral body's decision to move the Saturday, March 11, Governorship and House of Assembly Elections, which prompted the NNL to quickly change the earlier date.
The NNL's inaugural season began on March 4, 2023, with a 2-1 victory for FC One Rocket over Warri Wolves at the newly constructed Eket Stadium in Akwa Ibom state.
