Premier League clubs reportedly interested in signing Super Eagles right back Bright Osayi-Samuel from Fenerbahce
Nigerian defender Bright Osayi-Samuel is reportedly attracting interest from the Premier League with Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest the potential suitors.
The Nigerian international has been a regular for Fenerbahce since joining the club in January 2021, playing 27 games across all competitions this season already.
Crystal Palace initially inquired about signing the 25-year-old but Nottingham Forest now appears to have joined the race.
Bright Osayi-Samuel to the Premier League?
Osayi-Samuel is no stranger to English football as he played for Blackpool and Queens Park Rangers for years until Fenerbahce snapped him up for €508,000.
Crystal Palace are weak in the right-back position where 31-year-old Nathaniel Clyne and 33-year-old Joel Ward are their only options.
Signing 25-year-old Osayi-Samuel would give them the much-needed quality in that right fullback spot which they have been missing.
Reports suggest that the Turkish club are willing to sell Osayi-Samuel for around €11.28 million as that is their valuation of the player.
Osayi-Samuel made his name as a dangerous winger at QPR but has since morphed into a superb right fullback for Fenerbahce.
He made his Super Eagles debut playing in that position on November 17, 2022, in the 4-0 friendly game defeat to Portugal in which he played the full game.
