Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez will take the No 9 jersey after the exit of Roberto Firmino.
After joining Liverpool from Benfica last summer in a deal worth up to €100 million, Nunez took the No 27 Jersey after wearing the No 9 in Portugal.

Liverpool said that “fans who have already purchased new 2023-24 home and away jerseys printed with the name ‘Darwin’ and the number ‘27’ will be personally reimbursed by Nunez with a like-for-like exchange for a ‘Darwin 9’ shirt”.
