After winning the Premier League’s Golden Glove, David de Gea has challenged Manchester United to finish the season third and not fourth.
The remaining matches are against Chelsea and Fulham, and the Red Devils need just a single point from them in order to guarantee themselves a return to the Champions League.
De Gea, who won the glove for the second time in his career, has challenged his side to finish above Newcastle United.
"They [Bournemouth] had a few chances, you have to be very focused all game, trying to be connected with the team, and we won the game," De Gea told MUTV after the game. "So, I'm happy with everyone, and it's a massive improvement from last season.
"We're going the right way, but the job is still not done, and we have two games at home. We'll try to win both, and we know we need one point, but let's try to win both. Let's see if we can finish in third rather than fourth."
He will be awarded the Premier League's Golden Glove prize, as it is now impossible for any other goalkeeper to catch him.
