The all-time Harambee Stars top scorer has revealed how much he earned at Gor Mahia.
Former Harambee Stars and Gor Mahia striker Dennis 'the Menace' Oliech has revealed what he used to earn at Gor Mahia during his year-long stint at the club in the 2018/2019 season.
Oliech returned to the club after a two year break without playing and helped the side retain their FKFPL title while reaching the quarter finals of the CAF Confederation Cup that year under the stewardship of Hassan Okaty.
Speaking in a recent interview, Oliech, who has already thrown his hat in the rink for FKF presidency this year has revealed the amount of money he used to earn while he was there.

Oliech has revealed how he will solve the long-standing player-wage problem amongst local-based players in Kenya if elected FKF President.
“I used to earn Ksh 250,000 (a month) at Gor Mahia,” Oliech told Radio Jambo.
Oliech has however revealed that the net income the players used to earn during his spell there was mind boggling considering the level of tax-cuts among other deductions from the gross salary.
“I was the highest earning player at the club. My payment was never delayed. However, there was a lot of deducting. Too much deduction, sometimes you did not even understand what and why.”
Oliech has now revealed more reasons he intends to be part of football management in some capacity, even if not the hot seat itself.

FOOTBALL Oliech reveals why he is vying for FKF Presidency
Oliech has revealed that he has formed an alliance with Hussein Mohammed and former teammate McDonald Mariga to contest for the next FKF Presidential election.
“ My time will end. A new generation is coming and I will soon be forgotten, so before they forget me, let me at least remain in football.
“Even if I will not become the president, whoever will win should tag me along in office.’
Oliech has opened up on the dark side of running for office, citing the level of corruption when it comes to buying out delegates.
