Dennis Zakaria's injury
Dennis Zakaria, a Juventus loanee at Chelsea, has become a mainstay in Graham Potter's team, starting four games in a row before the injury.
The 26-year-old defensive-midfielder hobbled off the field in the 56th minute of Chelsea's 2-1 loss to Fulham on Thursday.
After the game, manager Graham Potter confirmed a thigh problem.
"The only assessment is it's at the top of the quad," Potter said
"In terms of the extent, it's too early to say."
Zakaria out for one month
Following Chelsea's 1-0 derby win against Crystal Palace, Graham Potter, who now has more information on Zakaria's situation, confirmed the Swiss would be out for the next four weeks. This is according to reports from The Athletic's Chelsea reporter, Simon Johnson.
Dennis Zakaria is expected to miss Chelsea's trip to Anfield, the Premier League games against Fulham and West Ham, and the Champions League round of 16 first-leg match against Borussia Dortmund.
