Right-back Grant Matsiko has sent out a thank you message to Wakiso Giants FC following his move to Startimes Uganda Premier League champions Vipers.
Last season’s best right-back in the division caught the eye of the champions and was unveiled Friday afternoon after signing a two-year deal.

He becomes the team's fifth signing in the ongoing transfer window after Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez, Luiz Otavio Santos de Araujo Tinga, David Bagoole and Richard Matovu.
The former Kigezi Home Boyz defender took to his social media to appreciate the club that introduced him to top-flight football.
“Dear Wakiso Giants FC, Two years ago, you signed me as a young man from Kabale, welcomed me and nurtured me into the footballer I am today,” Matsiko posted on his Twitter account.
“I’m here to appreciate you for believing in me and embracing me these last two seasons. Thank you for the memories. PEACE.”
