Miheso, who scored the side’s opening goal, has revealed the details of the meeting they had that effectively put fire into the bellies of the players to do well against Homeboyz.
AFC Leopards’ Clifton Miheso is optimistic that their win over Ingokho derby rivals Kakamega Homeboyz will be the first of many for the 13-time league champions.
Leopards have struggled this season, having won just one game in the build up to the match against the FKF Cup holders, but comfortably dispatched them 2-0 to move out of the relegation places into 14th place, while Homeboyz missed out on the chance to hit the 30-point mark.
Speaking after the game, Miheso, who scored the side’s opening goal, has revealed the determination within the playing staff and the details of the meeting they had that effectively put fire into the bellies of the players to do well.
