McTominay got the first goal for Man United before Oli McBurnie scored from the penalty spot in the first half. Diogo Dalot then scored the winning goal for the Red Devils.

The game started and Sheffield United were looking more like the team to get the first goal following their spell of possession.
However, it was Man United that got the opening goal from a scrappy ball which was not defended well by the Sheffield defender.
Bruno Fernandes lifted the ball into the box for McTominay, whose chest control took it away from his maker and his shot was scuffed, it bounced past a bemused Wes Foderingham.
The Man United goal did not last long as Sheffield United got the chance to level the game from the penalty spot after Mac Tominay’s handball.
Oli McBurnie took the penalty and scored despite Andre Onana diving the right way but no chance he was getting to that.
The referee blew the whistle for the end of the first half with Man United being the better team and the game still at 1-1.
Both teams came out for the second half, with Man United looking for another goal to put themselves in the lead.
The second goal came in the 76th minute from a wonderful curler from Man United defender Diogo Dalot.
Diogo Dalot thumped a 25-yard effort into the back of the net with Wes Foderingham unable to get more than his fingertips to it.
The referee blew the whistle for full time as Dalot’s goal made the difference for Manchester United.
