Bbosa acknowledged the deficit left by the January departures but believes his new acquisitions will fill the shoes.
Gaddafi’s coach Wasswa Bbosa has blamed disorganization in his playing unit for the early exit in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
A late goal by Joseph Sewali saw Kiyinda Boys from Mityana dump the topflight side from the round of 64. Bbosa said that the team had some hiccups in the transition to the second round.
“One of the challenges that cost us in the Uganda Cup game was that we were disorganized; we were not training together [consistently] because some players missed sessions,” Bbosa told Pulse Sports.
Madondo boost
Bbosa acknowledged the deficit left by the January departures but believes his new acquisitions will fill the shoes.
The club lost Godfrey Lwesibawa, Nicolas Kasozi and Shafiq Bakaki and assistant George Lutalo.
He has been boosted by the return of Joel Madondo and budding youngster Yusuf Bogere promoted from the junior team.
Bbosa is banking on Madondo to reclaim his form after sitting out almost half a season and banging in the goals.
“We have added in some players to fill the gap. Some will slot in directly but some will take time,” Bossa said as he expressed optimism on Madondo to catch up
“Madondo is a good player who just needs some little polishing to see to it that he pushes us. I believe in him and know he will get along as we play.”
Gaddafi is 7th on the Uganda Premier League table with 21 points. they return to league action on Saturday at home against SC Villa.
