Manchester United fans have credited the end of Rashford's goal drought to his reunion with his former partner.
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford ended a 16-game goal drought when he scored from the penalty spot in the victory against Everton, and fans of the Red Devils have attributed this turn in fortune to his alleged reunion with childhood sweetheart Lucia Loi.
Rashford spotted with former partner
Rashford’s meeting with Lucia was seen as a good omen, hence the positive reaction after clips from his date with his former partner hit the internet.

According to a Daily Star report, the England international hired out an entire French bar located in Manchester for the date. The 26-year-old and his former partner reportedly broke up early this year, and she arrived at the date without an engagement ring on.
Claims from the bar, which seats 18 people, say a comeback might be on the cards for the Manchester United Academy graduate. Rashford and Loi met over a decade ago at Ashton on Mersey School in Sale, Greater Manchester.
The pair dated for nine years before their first breakup in May 2021 due to the pressure of the pandemic lockdown.
They got back together months later, and they got engaged four months later. However, the pair called it quits again earlier this year, after the engagement, before being seen together for a date.
Fans credit reunion for Rashford's goal
“Some girlfriends bring you good luck, an example is Lucia Loi in Rashford's life. Whenever they're not together his performance will diminish. Once they're together, he'll start balling. Please don't go again,” one fan said, per the Daily Mail.
A second fan said, “Thank you, Lucia Loi, for your magic on Marcus Rashford. Please make sure he don’t run away from you again.”
“Rashford should never break up with Lucia until he decides to end his professional career,” A third added.
Meanwhile, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has claimed that Lionel Messi unfollowed Alejandro Garnacho on Instagram.
