The Eagles star has decided against joining Chelsea after also snubbing them last summer
Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise has reportedly chosen a move to Bayern Munich despite concrete interest from Premier League giants Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Eagles star has been on the radar of top clubs this summer and is odds-on to leave Crystal Palace this season in search of better opportunities.
Olise chooses Bayern Munich
Olise has been the subject of several transfer rumours with Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Newcastle United, and even Paris Saint-Germain all linked with a move for the talented 22-year-old.
However, according to reports from TheAthletics David Ornstein, Olise has chosen a move to German giants Bayern Munich over the chance to stay in England or move to his native France, with the Bavarians now set to test Crystal Palace’s resolve with a bid for the winger.
Olise rejects Chelsea again
The Eagles star has been a transfer target for Chelsea in the last two summers, with the Blues unsuccessful in attempts to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
Olise rejected a move to Chelsea last summer to sign a contract extension with Crystal Palace, despite the Blues having a bid accepted by the Eagles and this season he was believed to be in talks with Chelsea before news broke of his preference of a move to Germany instead.
It is believed that Chelsea’s inability to meet the financial commitments needed for the deal to bring Olise to Stamford Bridge could have played a part in the France youth international’s decision to take his talents to Bayern Munich.
