A blistering first-half display propelled Edo Queens to an emphatic win over Ibom Angels in Benin City.
Edo were too good following a 4-0 demolition of their visitors from Akwa Ibom, with four different scorers on the day.
Godwin Eunice opened the scoring as early as the second minute when she put Edo Queens in front before an own goal from Friday Esther doubled the advantage in the 14th minute.
Just before the half-hour mark, Abideen Suliat made it 3-0 as the home looked comfortable after just 30 minutes of play.
Four minutes later, Fajobi Yetunde made it 4-0 as Edo held on for the comprehensive and dominant win to stay at the top of their group.
With their emphatic victory, Edo Queens become the first team to make it through to the NWFL Super six with a game to spare.
Rivers Angels extend unbeaten run
The Rivers State side made it two wins in two matches after a narrow win over Heartland Queens in Port Harcourt.
Okwuchujwu was the heroine of the day as she netted the only goal of the game to give the Angels an important win.
The goal came just after the hour mark as Okwuchukwu netted from a difficult angle to give the Port Harcourt side all three points.
With the win, the Angels made it two wins in two matches to move into a playoff spot in the NWFL.
Elsewhere in the football league, there was a reason to smile for two Queens as Bayelsa and Adamawa registered 1-0 wins respectively.

While Adamawa Queens sealed all three points at home while Bayelsa went, saw and conquered their host Osun Babes.
The other two matches ended in a goalless affair, with Delta Queens and Nasarawa Amazons taking what could be valuable away point.
