Sudanese giants El Merrikh find themselves in a similar situation; with no CAF-certified home stadium, the Red Devils have moved their CAF CL preliminary second-round tie against Young Africans to another venue.
In a communication shared by Young Africans, the first leg tie to be hosted by the Sudanese side will be played at the King Pele Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda.
“The second preliminary round match in the #CAFCL against El Merrikh will take place at the Kigali Pele Stadium in Rwanda,” a tweet from Young Africans read.
This will be the second time this season that the Sudanese side has hosted a game in Rwanda, eliminating Congo side Otoho d’Oyo on away goals rule at the Huye stadium.
