Mwebaze wants his side to replicate their Sunday performance as they beat KCCA FC 1-0 to sail to the semi-finals of the Uganda Cup.
Soltilo Bright Stars FC have lost four Uganda Premier League games in a row, inducing their fall down on the table.
The Kavumba side, who lie 11th with 24 points in 20 games, visit bottom side Onduparaka FC at the Ababet Greenlight Stadium on Wednesday.
"We have stuttered in the past league games,” noted Bright Stars' head coach Asaph Mwebaze before adding.
“Not because we were playing badly but failed to score, but we have got the remedy, and we're ready to go.”
Mwebaze wants his side to replicate their Sunday performance as they beat KCCA FC 1-0 to sail to the semi-finals of the Uganda Cup.
"Hopefully, we can continue with what happened on Sunday and play with the same kind of belief, strength and speed," said the tactician ahead of the encounter with his former employers.
"If we take that into tomorrow's game and do just as we played on Sunday, then we'll be okay and hopefully leave this place with three points."
The Stars take on a side desperate for points as in 15th, they have only accumulated 13 points in 20 games, with relegation calling them out loud.
Mwebaze is conscious that Onduparaka will come all out fighting with their usual unforgiving home crowd but insists his charges are fully ready to battle.
"They (Onduparaka) have a massive following at home but have also been struggling. All we have to do is keep doing what Bright Stars does, and if we do like we have trained, we shall hopefully take the points back to Kampala."
"They will be fighting for everything (to avoid relegation), but also in hindsight that they will be in fear of losing, so we have to put the fear in them by scoring."
Bright Stars edged the first round 2-1 courtesy of goals from Innocent Kitimbo and Nelson Senkatuka. Meanwhile, Dominic Ayella netted Onduparaka's consolation at Kavumba.
