Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat has been forced to adjust his squad for the 2024 CHAN qualifiers against South Sudan following the late withdrawal of a key midfielder.
Harambee Stars have been dealt a major blow after Kenya Police midfielder Kenneth Muguna was ruled out of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.

Mathew Tegisi, Austin Odhiambo headline Harambee Stars squad for 2024 CHAN qualifier against South Sudan
Engin Firat has named final 24-man squad for crucial CHAN 2024 qualifying matches against South Sudan.
The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced the news in an official statement, confirming that Muguna would not be traveling with the team.
“Midfielder Kenneth Muguna has been ruled out of the squad after failing a late fitness test,” the FKF disclosed.
Muguna’s absence comes at a challenging time for the Harambee Stars. The player recently displayed his skill by netting a goal for Kenya Police during a mid-week clash against Mathare United.
The injury thus comes as a blow to both his club and the national team, which was counting on his experience and flair as they head into the high-stakes CHAN qualifiers.
