The forward inspired the Aba Millionaires to victory in mid-week but his coach believes he should have scored more against Shooting Stars.

Super Eagles legend Finidi George wants to see more goals from his talisman Emeka Obioma following a brilliant outing on Wednesday.

George made his demand after the talented forward led the People’s Elephant to another important win in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

Obioma netted a brace to inspire the former champions to a 2-0 win over Shooting Stars in Aba in the NPFL week eight encounter.

Both goals were scored in the second half to give Enyimba their fifth win of the season in the league in front of their home fans in Aba.

He should have scored more

Obioma’s goals against the Oluyole Warriors from Ibadan saw him take his tally to seven goals in just eight games this campaign.

Enyimba's coach George Finidi wants to see Obioma score more.

This makes him the top scorer in the football league, but his manager wants more from the forward.

According to Finidi, while he is happy his forward scored two goals, he insisted that Obioma should have had more in the game.

Emeka Obioma has scored seven goals in eight games this season in the NPFL.

“He should have scored more goals, we are happy for him,” he said. “Anything he touches goes in and we're expecting the third goal today but that didn't happen, maybe in the next game, we are all happy for him."

Speaking further, the former Ajax Amsterdam forward praised his forward for his great attitude.

Enyimba seem to have found their form and moved up to second in Group A.

“Great form he's got, and his attitude is perfect and brilliant,” he added. “We keep encouraging and pushing him to get the best out of him."
