Supporters of NPFL giants Enyimba have had enough of their Chairman, the Super Eagles legend, Nwankwo Kanu and his management team after the latest result against Shooting Stars at home.

The latest setback for Enyimba Football Club, a 1-1 draw against Shooting Stars at home, has sparked widespread discontent among fans, who are now calling for the resignation of Chairman Nwankwo Kanu

The People's Elephant, once a dominant force in Nigerian football, have struggled under Kanu's leadership, dropping to 11th place in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Fans have expressed their frustration over the team's inability to regain its winning form, with many criticising Kanu's management style and questioning his commitment to the club.

Some have accused him of being absent from key matches and failing to provide the necessary leadership to turn the team's fortunes around.

‘Kanu Nwankwo need to resign as the chairman of this club. Since his appointment, things has never gone well with this club,” a disappointed fan stated.

“Kanu. Nwankwo should leave Enyimba. Please Governor help us before Enyimba relegated,” another concerned fan said.

Kanu Nwankwo is under pressure at Enyimba.

The recent draw extends Enyimba's winless streak to two matches, with only one victory in their last five outings, including three defeats.

This poor run has left the club with 35 points from 26 matches, far from the top spots and continental qualification.

Enyimba have picked just one point from the last six.

Despite Kanu's efforts to bolster the team with new signings, including former Super Eagles striker Junior Lokosa, the results have not improved significantly.

Fans are now advocating for drastic changes, including boycotting home matches to pressure the management into action.

Abia Warriors are flying high ahead of Enyimba.

“To the Aba fan's can we boycott Enyimba FC remaining hone matches for the season so we can't watch their rubbish performance. The management and chairman are not ready,” a fan added.

Some fans have gone as far as to suggest that Kanu's appointment was a mistake, citing his lack of administrative experience as a major factor in the club's decline.

New Enyimba coach Stanley Eguma has just one win in the last five matches.

Others have called for the entire management team to be sacked, feeling that they are not committed to restoring Enyimba's former glory.

The situation has become increasingly dire, with Enyimba now 15 points off the fourth spot, making a return to continental football seem unlikely.
