According to reports, Haaland is certainly intent on renewing with Nike, but for a lucrative offer amid lurking competitors Adidas and Puma.
It is understood that both companies have submitted lucrative proposals to secure his services amid his desire to renew with Nike as his boot sponsors.
Despite his deal running out with Nike last month, Haaland has regularly appeared wearing Nike boots in matches - leading to suggestions he will stay with them.
Daily Mail reports the Norwegian is eyeing a '£20m-a-year contract' to remain with the American manufacturers.
Adidas and Puma also have a close relationship with Haaland off the pitch but it is believed the former Borussia Dortmund striker will remain with Nike.
Puma are Manchester City's current kit manufacturers having signed a deal with the Etihad outfit until 2029, but Adidas' chief executive Bjorn Gulden remains a close friend of Haaland's family.
Puma have already signed Haaland’s teammate at City team-mate Jack Grealish, who had previously been signed to Nike.

The Manchester City striker has been the most prolific striker in the Premier League, having notched 33 times in 33 appearances in all competitions for the English champions so far this campaign.
Over the weekend, he broke City's single-season all-time goalscoring record in the Premier League in the 4-1 win against Bournemouth, surpassing club legend Sergio Aguero(26), by netting his 27th Premier League goal of the campaign in his debut season.
Haaland returns to action for the Etihad giants on Tuesday, February 28, when they travel to play Bristol City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
