Cole Palmer explains celebration
His performances have earned him several accolades, including the Chelsea Player of the Year, Premier League Young Player of the Year and Game Changer awards.
Speaking to Daily Mirror, Palmer revealed that his 'cold' celebration, which has become a trademark, was inspired by the fans' comments on his social media.
"All my comments on Instagram were always saying 'cold, Cold Palmer' and stuff like this, so I did that celebration against Luton and it just stuck from there.”
“I've got all the little kids coming up to me doing it. It makes me laugh to see the kids do it, they really enjoy it and so it's a fun thing to do," the Chelsea star explained.
When asked about his favourite goal of the season, Palmer didn't hesitate to pick his strike against Manchester United.
"I like the United one probably just for pure emotion," the talented player set for EURO 2024 added.
The 22-year-old's standout season has not only delighted Chelsea fans but has also earned him widespread praise from pundits and experts.
With his mix of skill, creativity, and a knack for scoring important goals, Palmer has firmly established himself as one of the brightest young talents in the Premier League.
Chelsea will look to build on their success and challenge for trophies next season, and the continued development and performances of Cole Palmer will be crucial to their ambitions.
