France boss Didier Deschamps will be missing a key player when his side takes on Portugal in the quarterfinal.

Les Bleus midfielder Adrien Rabiot will miss the EURO 2024 quarterfinal between France and Portugal through suspension.

Rabiot to miss quarterfinal against Portugal

Rabiot picked up a yellow card in the 1-0 win over Belgium, his second of the tournament, for a tackle on Jeremy Doku.

The decision has left Rabiot disappointed, but he remains confident that his teammates will perform well in his absence.

Speaking to RMC Sport, the 29-year-old said: “I’m disgusted to have taken this yellow. I find that the refereeing at the start of the match was a little limited.

"However, I have confidence in the guys on the bench; I will be behind them.”

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is expected to replace Rabiot in the lineup.
