Welbeck haunts Manchester United yet again
The ex-England international benefitted from some lacklustre defending inside Manchester United’s six-yard box to strike for Brighton, giving the Seagulls the lead against the Red Devils.

The goal was Welbeck’s sixth goal against Manchester United since leaving the Red Devils in 2014, making them his second favourite victims after West Ham, against whom he has scored seven goals.
Welbeck reaches 100 club career goals
In addition to helping Welbeck further his vendetta against Manchester United, the 33-year-old’s goal for Brighton also helped him reach a personal milestone.
Thanks to the goal against the Red Devils, Welbeck has now reached a century of club career goals, during his 16-year career.
Welbeck scored 29 of those goals for Manchester United while recording two on loan at Preston North End and six on loan at Sunderland.
The former England international also scored 24 goals for Arsenal, three for Watford, and 28 for Brighton, totalling up to 100 goals so far in his career.
