The plaudits keep coming for the Super Eagles star after firing Napoli to the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League.
Former Scotland star Ally McCoist has praised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen after his heroics for Napoli in their win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.
Osimhen was Napoli’s man of the match as Luciano Spalletti’s men booked their spot in the Champions League quarter-final following a 3-0 win over the German side.

Having won the first leg in Frankfurt 2-0, Napoli finished the job at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium, courtesy of goals from Osimhen and Piotr Zieliński.

Osimhen opened the scoring with a superb header from Matteo Politano’s cross before doubling the advantage in the second half.
Zielinski made it a comfortable night for Napoli with the third from the penalty spot, but the headline was all about Osimhen.
Osimhen gets Drogba comparison
The Nigerian got many people talking, including McCoist, who believes the Nigeria international is similar to Didier Drogba.
Osimhen had spoken in the past about he looked up to the ex-Chelsea man, and McCoist sees similarities between the two strikers.
“He’s the real deal, I’m telling you he’s the real deal,” McCoist said on TalkSport.
“He’s the nearest I’ve seen to Drogba in a long time. He’s physical, he’s quick, he’s aggressive. Best header I’ve seen in five years. It’s some header,” McCoist added.

Osimhen is currently having his best individual season with 23 goals and five assists in 28 games for Napoli this season.
The Super Eagles star will hope to continue his incredible form when Napoli return to Serie A action in their clash against Torino on Saturday.
Following that game, Osimhen will turn his attention to international duty as Super Eagles resume their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in a doubleheader clash against Guinea-Bissau.
