Rwandan giants Rayon Sport FC have finally scooped winger Joachim Ojera on a permanent move, from Uganda Premier League side URA FC.
The fleet-footed star had initially joined the Nyanza based outfit in January on a six-month loan, but has now been secured at least for the next two years.
The forward left a mark during his loan spell having scored three goals in eight league matches for the side.
However it's his overall impressive play that enticed the club into making the deal permanent.
Ojera's game boasts blistering pace, excellent dribbling and playmaking yet he has a strong eye for goal as well.
During his loan spell, Ojera helped Rayon Sport mount a fight for the 2022/23 Rwandan Premier League trophy, but fell just short as they finished third with 61 points, just two adrift of eventual winners APR.
Ojera broke through for top level football at URA under head coach Sam Ssimbwa.
At the time he left for loan in January, he had fallen out with the club as he reportedly refuses a pay-cut, along with former URA midfielder Shafik Kagimu.
