FOOTBALL BetPawa to pay Ugandan players UGX 150,000 per match win
Under this program, BetPawa has allocated a substantial sum of USD 80,000 [approx. UGX 298 million] to be shared among the players comprising the matchday squad.
"The association will use the money to develop the league by purchasing new equipment like digital scoreboards, balls and league data development and proper access to it."
"The money will also be used in club facilitation that will inevitably boost league performance to enable our product to stand out," he told Pulse Sports.
The BetPawa Futsal Super League is on a break after the Yeak Kabowa were crowned champions for the second time in June in a shortened season.
With the new money rolling in, the league is set for a resumption in October 2023, with league management yet to come up with a kick-off date.
