The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped down the perking order in the latest ranking released by the world football governing body.
During the previous month's ranking, Jose Peseiro-led side were 40th in the world but have dropped two places in the latest FIFA ranking for the month of November.

Despite dropping to 42nd in the world, the Super Eagles remain two places above Erling Haaland’s Norway, 19 places above the Black Stars of Ghana, while Ivory Coast is eight places behind Nigeria.

The Atlas Lions of Morocco are 13th in the world after an impressive showing at last year’s World Cup in Qatar when they became the first African country to reach the semi-finals.
Current AFCON champions Senegal are ranked 20th, with Tunisia (28), Algeria (30), and Egypt (33) making up the top five teams on the continent.
Messi-led Argentina remain world number one
Despite losing a game for the first time since their World Cup triumph, Argentina, captained by former Barcelona legend Lionel Messi, retained the number one spot in the world ranking.
