Harambee Starlets have moved up seven places in the latest FIFA rankings thanks to their impressive results against Tunisia in the WAFCON qualifiers.
Harambee Starlet’s victory over Tunisia in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers has seen them make a major leap in the FIFA rankings.
Kenya are the biggest gainers in the latest rankings released on Thursday after jumping seven places up to position 149 on the global rankings, all thanks to their impressive results against the North Africans.
Starlets forced a goalless draw in Nairobi before securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory in Tunis to qualify for the final round of the WAFCON qualifiers, where they will face the Gambia.
