“The morale in the camp is high because most of the players here have desired for the national team. The young girls have come here with the urge to prove that they are capable of delivering something special. Majority of the girls have been featuring in different tournaments and now they want to play for the nation and we have great hope that we will get good results in this campaign,” Cheche told People Daily.
Despite facing a setback with the absence of forward Joy Angela Valencia due to injury, Cheche believes that the morale in the camp is high, with players eager to showcase their talent on the international stage.

One player who could play a crucial role for the Junior Starlets is Madira Assassins’ striker Valerie Nekesa, hailed as a "goal machine" for her impressive performance in last year's FIFA U20 Women’s qualifiers, where she scored four goals in a 10-1 aggregate victory against Angola in the third round.
Nekesa is expected to lead the attack alongside Marion Serenge, Qinter Adhiambo, and midfield maestro Diana Anyango.
The first leg of the qualifier will take place at the 25,000-seater Abebe Bikila artificial turf stadium in Addis Ababa on Friday, kicking off at 3PM East African time.
The team will return home on Saturday evening for the return leg fixture on Sunday at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
The winner of the third-round tie will face either Djibouti or Burundi in the fourth and final round of the qualifying process.
