After Manchester City's Uefa Champions League triumph on Saturday night, they become only the second English team ever to win the treble and one of only 8 teams in history to achieve the historic feat.

Pep Guardiola finally led Manchester City to European glory and in the process, the coveted treble, 12 years after winning the trophy with Barcelona.

What is a treble?

Generally speaking, a team is said to have won the continental treble when they win their domestic league title, main domestic cup competition, and main continental competition.
