Fiston Kalala Mayele, hailed as Africa's most prolific striker of the past season, is about to take center stage in a captivating documentary film.

At the age of 29, Mayele made a resounding impact with Young Africans during the previous season, registering an impressive 25 goals across all competitions in as many games.

His exceptional performance played a pivotal role in guiding the team to consecutive domestic trebles in Tanzania.

The moniker "predator" that aptly describes Mayele's prowess on the field has taken a new dimension as he confirmed the imminent release of his documentary via his official Twitter account on Tuesday.

"Anticipating the forthcoming release of my documentary," Mayele tweeted, accompanied by a poster featuring him donning the Young Africans jersey, adorned with the number 9.

Mayele's tenure of two seasons with "Tiimu ya Wanainchi" witnessed him securing the Tanzanian Premier League's top scorer title in both instances, sharing the honor with Simba's Saido Ntibazonkiza in the previous season.

Furthermore, his extraordinary performance extended to the CAF Confederation Cup, where he clinched the tournament’s top scorer title.

This achievement was pivotal in propelling his team to their inaugural CAF interclub competition final, where he netted seven goals throughout the journey.

Notably, Mayele's documentary won't stand alone, as Young Africans have already unveiled their own documentary chronicling their continental expedition from the previous season.

Titled 'Historia Imekamilika' in Swahili, signifying "History is Accomplished," the documentary is presently available on Azam TV, the official broadcaster of the Tanzanian League.

Marking a remarkable milestone in his career, Mayele celebrated scoring 50 goals for the green and yellow side during the midpoint of the previous season.

In August, his journey took a new direction when he joined Egyptian powerhouse Pyramids FC, solidifying a multi-million dollar, two-year contract.
