Gor Mahia and Shabana were among notable side to secure their tickets for the next round of the FKF cup.

Gor Mahia showcased their dominance with a commanding 5-0 victory over Githurai Allstars in the FKF Cup on Sunday at Dandora Stadium.

Midfielder Austine Odhiambo continued his impressive form, opening the scoring in the 20th minute with a sublime free-kick.

This was his second goal from a set piece in a week, following his stunning strike against Kariobangi Sharks at the same venue on Wednesday.

Odhiambo then doubled his tally in the 40th minute, securing his second brace of the week.

Moments later, Gedeon Bendeka capitalized on a rebound from a Samuel Kapen shot, slotting home to give Gor Mahia a 3-0 lead at halftime.

The second half saw Mark Shaban extend the lead with a clinical finish before Alpha Onyango sealed the emphatic win in the 87th minute, completing a five-star performance for K'Ogalo

At Gusii Stadium, Shabana FC had an easy outing against Plantech FC, cruising to a 5-1 victory.

A Brian Michira hat-trick and a Vincent Nyabuto goal saw Shabana go into the break with a comfortable 4-0 lead.

Moses Shikanda added a fifth in the second half before Plantech FC pulled one back for a consolation goal.

Kakamega Homeboyz edged Samitsi 1-0, thanks to Hillary Otieno's early 7th-minute strike.

Ulinzi Stars thrashed Jumbo T 6-0, recording the biggest win of the round.

Kibera Soccer dispatched Ishiara FC 3-0 as Bidco United narrowly beat Far East United FC 1-0.

Murang’a Seal won a tense penalty shootout (5-4) after a 2-2 draw with Fortune Sacco.

Kapenguria United edged Kakamega Veterans (4-3) on penalties after a goalless draw in regular time.

The FKF Cup action continues as teams battle for a spot in the next round. Gor Mahia, Shabana, and Ulinzi Stars have stamped their authority, signaling their intent for the title.
