Two FKFPL matches at Kenyatta Stadium have been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch caused by overnight rains in Machakos.
Two Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) matches scheduled for Sunday at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos were canceled after heavy overnight rains left the playing surface waterlogged.
This decision was made following an inspection before the planned 12 PM kickoff, which deemed the pitch unplayable.

Revenge on cards as AFC Leopards host title-chasing Bandari
AFC Leopards will aim for revenge against Bandari in a critical Kenyan Premier League match at Dandora Stadium this Sunday.
The first game to be affected was between Nairobi City Stars and Ulinzi Stars, followed by an afternoon match featuring Posta Rangers against FC Talanta.
"Due to the unplayable surface in Machakos, our game against Ulinzi Stars on Sunday at noon has been postponed to a later date," confirmed a statement from Nairobi City Stars.
Ulinzi Stars also took to social media to announce the disruption: "Our today's scheduled #FKFPL match against Nairobi City Stars has been postponed due to the poor playing surface here at Machakos Stadium."
The inclement weather began last night and persisted into the morning, forcing the postponement of the games.
Kenyatta Stadium was also set to host another match on Monday between Tusker and Nzoia Sugar, which has now been relocated to Dandora Stadium in Nairobi.
Despite the disruptions in Machakos other league matches will proceed as planned in different locations.
At the Mumias Sports Complex, Kakamega Homeboyz, recently eliminated from the FKF Cup, are set to host Kenya Police. The latter, currently third in the league standings, are eager to close the gap with leaders Gor Mahia.
"Every match is crucial at this stage, and we are going into this game focused on securing maximum points," said Kenya Police coach Salim Babu in a pre-match interview.
Meanwhile, AFC Leopards will face Bandari at Dandora Stadium, the same venue to which the Tusker-Nzoia Sugar match has been shifted.
