Following Denmark's exit from Euro 2024 yesterday, Kaper Schmeichel was angry with the VAR call against his team.
Denmark faced Germany in the round of 16 and lost 2-0 to the Die Mannschaft as Julian Nagelsmann qualified for the quarter-final.
Joachim Andersen's stunning opener gave the Danes but Thomas Delaney's tiny offside in the build-up saw the goal disallowed.
Shortly after, a penalty was subsequently given down the other end for an Andersen handball, adding even more pain to their ordeal.

Schmeichel was pissed at the decision given against them by the VAR after the game which led to their elimination.

Speaking after the game, as reported by the Sun, Schmeichel said, "It's a mixture of disappointment, anger, rage, a bit of everything at the moment.
"This is football nowadays, I've played football for 23 years and still don't know the rules yet. I'm not sure what a player is meant to do when he is running, and the ball is whacked at his hand from a yard away.

"Not really sure what he's supposed to do with his arm but there was definitely a sense that the margins were on their side today. I'm not sure football and common sense go together anymore."
Michael Oliver was called to the monitor by VAR even though it didn't appear like a handball at first.

The VAR used a Snickometer to show the referee that the ball hit Andersen's hand from a Florian Wirtz shot.
The referee then awarded Germany a penalty, which Kai Havertz converted to make the score 1-0 before Jamal Musiala then added Germany's second goal.
