Croatia conceded a 98th-minute equaliser against Italy to effectively send them packing from EURO 2024.
Croatia captain and legend Luka Modric has opened up on the cruelty of football after his team conceded a last-minute equaliser to end their EURO 2024 hopes.
The Real Madrid midfielder had given Croatia the lead in the first half, converting the rebound after his penalty was saved.
That goal took Croatia to 4 points and poised for a place in the knockout round until Mattia Zaccagni scored in the final minute of stoppage time.
