Ex-KCCA FC jewel, Jackson Nunda is set to revive his career after agreeing a deal to join Uganda Premier League side Maroons FC.
Reliable sources close to the player have confirmed the developments, asserting that the deal is done, pending official unveiling by the Prison Warders.
Nunda has had a downward spell in his career, following a series of injuries, particularly to his knees, but he's now keen on a revival.
He has spent the bigger part of the past two years at URA FC, a side he also left in search of quality playing time.
Given his undoubted ability and technical prowess, Nunda is destined to thrive under Maroons head coach Muhammad Ssenfuma.
The attacking midfielder made his name at KCCA under Mike Mutebi in a side that dominated the local scene, winning three Uganda Premier League and two Uganda Cup titles there.
After five years, he departed in 2020, but has since failed to rediscover his mojo.
Nunda is set to appear in the FUFA Super 8 as Maroons FC take on league record holders SC Villa on Friday.
