Premier League legend and former Man City star David Silva has called an end to his football career at the age of 37.
The Spanish midfielder joined City from Valencia in 2010 and made 436 appearances, scored 77 goals and provided 140 assists.

Silva's early retirement from football was caused by an anterior cruciate ligament injury he suffered while training with Real Sociedad during preseason.

The contract extension Silva signed in May was valid until the end of the upcoming season, but he has since renounced it.
