Odong has played for Victoria University and URA in the UPL and Kenyan giant Tusker and Kariobangi Sharks, as well as Biashara Mara FC in Tanzania.
BUL FC has continued to up their preparations for the 2023/24 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season with the addition of experienced striker Mathew Odong Tayo.
Odong has been on the scene for a decade now after launching his topflight career at the now-defunct SC Victoria around 2013.
The midfielder-cum-striker has spent a larger portion of his career in the Kenya Premier League.

BUL’s coach Abbey Kikomeko believes Odong’s experience and versatility will boost the team’s attacking system.
“Odong is an experienced player who can play either as an attacking midfielder or a striker,” Kikomeko noted.
