During his time at the St. Mary’s Stadium, he achieved success by winning four trophies, including two Uganda Premier League titles and two Stanbic Uganda Cup titles.
Forward Ibrahim Orit is expected to complete a deadline day to West Nile based club Arua Hill SC, Pulse Sports has learnt.
Orit joins the Leopards on a free transfer from Vipers SC after his contract with the Venoms expiring at the end of last season.
The forward joined Vipers in January 2020, when he signed a three-year contract, joining from Mbarara City, in the same window that saw left back Disan Galiwango join from Express.
However, both players have now moved on from Vipers, with Disan Galiwango joining Tanzania Premier League club, Kagera Sugar, while their departure was announced in a space of days.
For Orit, his contract with Vipers concluded in June, and after facing challenges such as injuries and limited playing time, he decided to part ways with the Venoms.
Sources suggest that Orit was not inclined to extend his stay beyond his previous contract duration as he sought to rejuvenate his career elsewhere.
By the time he joined Vipers, he was a Uganda Cranes regular, featuring in all of Uganda's matches at the 2021 Africa Nations Championship, where he even managed to find the net.
However, his involvement and influence with the national team have dwindled since then, primarily due to limited playing time at the club level.
During his time at the St. Mary’s Stadium, he achieved success by winning four trophies, including two Uganda Premier League titles and two Uganda Cups.
