Barcelona and Milan scouts watch Kamada
Turkish transfer news specialist Ekrem Konur reported today that Barcelona and AC Milan sent scouts to watch Kamada in Frankfurt's Bundesliga clash against Leipzig last Saturday.
Although Frankfurt lost, Kamada put up a decent performance. Barcelona would already be aware of his quality, as he was integral in knocking the Blaugrana out of the Europa League last season, assisting what turned out to be the winning goal in the second-leg of the tie.
Kamada's current deal expires in the summer, and he is available on a free transfer. This makes him a fit for Barcelona and AC Milan. Barcelona, because their financial situation limits their options in the market, and AC Milan, who have become bargain hunters in recent years.
Kamada for Frankfurt
Kamada was sent out on loan the season after he joined Frankfurt to Belgian side Sint-Truiden, but he has been one of Mainhattan's most important players in recent seasons.
Other than the impressive campaign in Frankfurt's Europa League triumph, in which he scored five goals, Kamada has been impressive in this season's Champions League campaign, which came as a reward for their Europa League successes.
The Japanese midfielder is Frankfurt's top scorer in the Champions League this season with three goals, helping them reach the knockout stages of the competition over Sporting Lisbon and Marseille.
He is also the second top scorer for Oliver Glasner's side in the Bundesliga this season, with seven goals to go with four assists.
