Kapaito has enjoyed a good run in front of goal recently and hopes his goals can still make Tusker win the title despite sitting 12 points off Gor Mahia.
Tusker FC forward Erick Kapaito believes they still have the capability to win the league this season despite suffering a setback against runaway leaders Gor Mahia last Saturday.
The Brewers' eight-game unbeaten run was brought to an abrupt end thanks to an Austin Odhiambo free kick to give Gor a 1-0 lead and put them 12 points ahead of the Ruaraka-based outfit in the race for the title.
Robert Matano's men have their work cut out if they are to stand a chance of catching up with K'Ogalo, as they would need a near-perfect record while hoping Gor Mahia slip enroute to matchday 34 to reclaim the title they last won in 2021.

Tusker stands as the fourth-ranked team on the FKF Premier League table, amassing a commendable total of 31 points from 19 matches played in the ongoing season.
However, they could still finish the season with silverware should they make amends for their near miss in the FKF Cup last season where they lost to Kakamega Homeboyz in the final.
Kapaito’s words were echoed by head coach Robert Matano recently, who insisted that the club must still fight on despite the setback.
“We are fighting hard and not out of the title race,” Matano said after the match.
